In Full Bloom: A mindful gathering and day brunch honouring and celebrating the lives and stories of self-identifying black wxmen.

Join us for a morning of community, connection & sisterhood. This event begins with a gentle beginner’s self-love yoga flow led by Melissa Nkomo, followed by a live music guided meditation by Desiree Dawson and Dora Kamau. Afterwards, there will be a long-table communal afro-vegan catered by Kula Kitchen.
Investment: $35 with 2 scholarship spots available.

Dora Kamau is the founder of Bliss Your Heart, a self-care and wellness artist, a 200 hr meditation teacher & mindfulness facilitator and a registered psychiatric nurse. Unshaken & impenetrable by the qualms of life, Dora has used her story of pain and transmuted it to the multifaceted woman she is today. Since 2017, she’s been creating & holding meaningful space for women to connect & build community in Vancouver.
Bliss Your Heart is a women’s online and in-person platform rooted in self-love, self-care and mental health. BYH is situated in Vancouver, BC and creates safe and meaningful spaces for women to be seen, heard and understood through intentional conversations and connections.
